Wilson and Henry Earn All-Region 16 Honors After Standout Seasons

Following a competitive 2025–26 season, two key leaders of the Women's Basketball Team have earned recognition among the best players in the region. Sophomore guard Aubri Wilson and freshman guard Lexie Henry were both named to the All-Region 16 Team, highlighting their impact throughout the year and their role in guiding the team to an 18–13 overall record.

Henry, named Second Team All-Region 16, led the team with 545 total points, averaging 17.6 points per game. The freshman guard shot 43.3% from the field while connecting on 87 three-pointers, finishing the season with a 36.0% three-point percentage.

Beyond scoring, Henry contributed in several areas with 147 rebounds, 69 assists, 56 steals, and 14 blocks, proving to be one of the team’s most versatile players. She remained a key offensive threat during conference play as well, averaging 15.8 points per game against Region 16 opponents.

Wilson, named First Team All-Region 16, played a major role as both a scorer and facilitator throughout the season. She averaged 14.9 points per game while finishing the year with 269 total points. Wilson also led the team in playmaking, recording 70 assists and averaging nearly four assists per game.

The sophomore elevated her performance during conference matchups, averaging 17.4 points per game against league opponents. Wilson also added 74 rebounds and 49 steals, showcasing her ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor.

Together, Wilson and Henry formed one of the region’s most dynamic backcourts, combining for 814 points, 139 assists, and 105 steals while leading the team’s offense throughout the season. Their selection to the All-Region 16 Team reflects both their individual excellence and the important role they played in the team’s successful 2025–26 campaign.
