Crowder College softball packed a full week of action into four games, earning a decisive road sweep against Missouri State–West Plains before returning home for a challenging doubleheader with Three Rivers College. The week featured dominant pitching performances, explosive offensive innings, and several standout individual efforts.


Game 1

March 31, 2026
Crowder College 16, Missouri State–West Plains 0 (5 innings)

Crowder College opened the twin bill in emphatic fashion, blanking MSU–West Plains behind a flawless all-around performance. The Roughriders scored in every inning and capitalized on four Grizzly defensive errors to fuel a 16-run outburst.

Key Performances:

  • Evelyn Comstock delivered a monster game, going 4-for-4 with a home run, double, and 4 RBIs, setting the tone early with a first-inning blast.
  • Layla Pasley was unstoppable, driving in 6 runs on three hits, including two home runs and a double.
  • Tessa Groeneveld was dominant in the circle, throwing a five-inning no-hitter with 9 strikeouts and just one walk.

Back home in Neosho, Crowder faced a powerful Three Rivers offense that struck quickly and often. Three Rivers plated 15 runs in the first two innings, putting the game out of reach early.

  • Addison Fulbright had a huge day at the plate, driving in 8 RBIs with a home run and four hits.
  • Kylie Walker added 6 RBIs, including two home runs.
  • Addison Cooper earned the win, allowing just one earned run in five innings.

Crowder’s offense was limited to four runs, with RBIs from Callie Cooper and Evelyn Comstock, as the Roughriders struggled to contain a relentless Three Rivers lineup.
