Roughrider Baseball Undefeated on the Week
April 21 — Crowder 15, NEO A&M 12 (12 innings)
Crowder College outlasted Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in a wild 12‑inning slugfest in Joplin, pulling away late for a 15–12 win. Crowder built an early lead with four runs in the first and never let the game get completely out of reach despite multiple NEO rallies.
Offensively, Camren Stratton delivered a huge day at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two home runs, four RBIs, and three walks. William Beaudoin also homered and drove in three runs, while Carson Arnold added three hits and two RBIs. Maddox Morrison reached base six times, going 3-for-5 with three walks.
On the mound, Crowder pieced together the win with six pitchers. Mason Schirmer earned the victory with four strong innings, striking out eight while allowing just one run, stabilizing the game late as Crowder pulled ahead in the 12th.
NEO A&M was led by Marek Lalonde, who hit a grand slam and finished with four RBIs, while Raine Kreklewetz, Alexis Descarreaux, and Zach Menard also homered in the loss.
April 23 — Crowder 3, St. Louis CC 1
In a sharply played pitching duel in St. Louis, Crowder leaned on a strong all-around effort to secure a 3–1 win. The Roughriders scratched across single runs in the second, fourth, and fifth innings.
Lawson Ward and Hudson Hosman each drove in a run, while Maddox Morrison delivered an RBI single. Spencer Mounce went 2-for-4 with a double to spark the offense.
The story of the game was Kaden Felan, who tossed a complete game, allowing just one run on six hits while striking out six to improve to 5–2 on the season.
April 23 — Crowder 11, St. Louis CC 2
Crowder completed a doubleheader sweep later that day with an 11–2 victory, powered by early offense and dominant pitching. Crowder plated five runs in the first inning, setting the tone.
Carson Arnold was outstanding, going 4-for-5 with four RBIs, while Ryan Stalony scored three times and added two RBIs. Lawson Ward chipped in two RBIs, and Crowder totaled 12 hits.
On the mound, Micah Henson earned the win by striking out eight over six innings, allowing only two runs. Pierce Yates closed the game with three scoreless innings and four strikeouts.
April 25 — Crowder 10, St. Louis CC 4
Back home in Neosho, Crowder used a big middle innings surge to post a 10–4 win. After falling behind 4–0 early, the Roughriders responded with 10 unanswered runs, including a three-run fourth and a three-run fifth.
Carson Arnold stayed hot, driving in three runs with a pair of doubles, while Camren Stratton went 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Lawson Ward, Ryan Stalony, and William Beaudoin all collected multiple hits.
After a short start, Gavin Moore shut the door in long relief, throwing 5.2 scoreless innings to earn the win.
April 25 — Crowder 5, St. Louis CC 4
Crowder capped the series with another comeback win, scoring four runs in the sixth inning and walking it off in the ninth for a 5–4 victory.
Carson Arnold again delivered in the clutch, tripling and driving in two runs, while Spencer Mounce and Lawson Ward added key RBIs. Rylan Michel scored twice and swiped two bases to help fuel the offense.
On the mound, Sawyer Owens worked four innings without allowing a hit, and Nathan Defries struck out seven in relief. Will Rushing earned the win by retiring the final batter of the game.
