Crowder College Baseball Posts Dominant Stretch With Five Straight Wins
Crowder College baseball put together an explosive series of performances from February 24–28, 2026, stacking five consecutive victories and showcasing one of their most productive offensive stretches of the season.
February 24 — Crowder 24, Labette 4
Crowder opened the week with a barrage of offense, piling up 24 runs on 27 hits in a runaway win at Labette Community College.
The Roughriders scored in every inning except the second, highlighted by multi-homer games from Jansen Roberts (2 HR, 6 RBI) and Lawson Ward (2 HR, 5 RBI).
William Beaudoin and Brody Baker also went deep, while Maddox Morrison added a homer and a pair of stolen bases.
On the mound, Micah Henson earned the win with 4 innings of work, allowing three runs and striking out five. Crowder’s pitching held Labette to just five hits overall.
February 26 (Game 1) — Crowder 9, Metropolitan CC 5
Crowder fought back from an early deficit to take the first matchup at Metropolitan Community College.

The second game of the doubleheader was all Crowder.

- Extra-base hits from Morrison, Michel, Stratton, and Beaudoin
On the mound, Seth Carlson was dominant across six innings, allowing just one run on one hit with six strikeouts. Gavin Moore closed it out with a clean seventh.
February 28 (Game 1) — Crowder 13, Metropolitan CC 2
Returning home, Crowder continued rolling with another double-digit win, scoring in four straight innings.

Crowder completed the sweep behind a strong pitching effort from Kaden Felan, who struck out 11 over six innings while allowing no earned runs.
Offensively:
- Carlo Almendarez led with a HR and two hits.
- Spencer Mounce delivered a big 3-RBI performance.
- Extra-base hits from Michel, Stratton, and Almendarez helped fuel late-inning scoring.
Reliever Eli Crecelius struck out five over the final three innings to secure the victory.
