North Ark made two free throws and a bucket to tie the game up at 54-54 with 1:24 left.  Maia Wright scored a bucket with 56.3 seconds left to give Crowder the lead at 56-54.  The Pioneers and Roughriders each turned it over on the ensuing possessions.  North Ark made a lay with 28.6 seconds left to tie it up at 56-56.  The Roughriders called a timeout to set up the play for the last shot.  Fiona Wilson was fouled with 17.1 seconds left and made one of two free throws to give Crowder a one point lead at 57-56.  After a North Ark timeout, the Roughriders deflected a pass and in the scramble fouled with 4.7 seconds left to send North Ark to line where they made both free throws to regain the lead at 58-57.  After the Roughrider called a timeout, Wright drove to the basket to hit the game winning shot with 0.9 seconds left.  After a North Ark turnover, their bench was assessed a technical foul.  Wilson hit both free throws to secure the 61-58 victory.  Wilson led Crowder with 18 points.  Wright had 13 points and 7 rebounds.  Leaf chipped in 11 points and a team high 4 steals.  Makayla White dished out 3 assists.  Crowder improves to 14-11 (1-4 Region 16) on the season.  The Roughriders will host Mineral Area in their annual Play 4 Kay Cancer Awareness game on Saturday at 2:00 PM.
