Crowder hosted National Park College Saturday on Alumni Day. After a back and forth first quarter the Roughriders led 25-22. Crowder tightened up their defense and cranked up their offense to outscore the Nighthawks 33-15 and take a 58-37 halftime lead. The Roughriders came out of the locker room lethargic and National Park closed the gap to 73-60. Crowder held their opponents to nine points in the fourth quarter and pulled away for the 96-69 victory. Sophomore Ashley Reichert scored a team high 21 points on 5-8 shooting from behind the arc. Fellow sophomore Maia Wright had an all around good game with 20 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Freshmen Fiona Wilson had 20 points and Makayla White added 10 points, a career high 16 rebounds and 2 blocks. Nathalia Silva had a team high 7 assists. Crowder improves to 13-11. The Roughriders host North Arkansas on Wednesday at 6:00 PM.
