Crowder got off to a slow start on the road at National Park falling behind 23-13 after one quarter. The second quarter the teams reversed roles and the Roughriders outscored the Nighthawks 23-13 to go into the intermission tied at 36 all. Crowder held a three point lead after three quarters at 52-49. The Roughriders never did really pull away from the Nighthawks but held on to win 71-60. Sophomore Maegan Bandimere had a great all around performance which included a career high 33 points and 11 rebounds. She also dished out 5 assists and had 4 blocks. Alex Vogt added 13 points and 9 rebounds, while Maia Wright hauled in a career high 13 rebounds and 4 steals. Crowder improves to 11-13 (2-2 Region 16). The Roughriders will host Mineral Area on Saturday at 2:00 PM in their annual Pink game to promote breast cancer awareness.
