The Roughriders lost on the road Tuesday night at Murray State 73-62. After high scoring first quarter in which Crowder trailed 19-15 they struggled to score and were down 33-22 at the half. The Roughriders made a comeback after the half with a 22-14 third quarter and only trailed by four heading into the final stanza. Midway through the fourth quarter Crowder took the lead and held a four point lead with about three minutes to go but couldn't hold on down the stretch. Elle Williams and Maegan Bandimere each had 16 points. Maia Wright and Bethaney Gilkey hauled in 8 and 7 rebounds respectively. Kourtney Shipley dished out a team high 5 assists. Alex Vogt retruned to the lineup for her first action of the season and led with 3 steals. Gilkey, Bandimere, and Aubrie Ayers each had 2 blocks. Crowder drops to 4-6 on the season and plays at Seminole on Saturday at 2:00 PM.
