After a tough loss on Wednesday night the Roughriders bounced back in convincing fashion to upset #23 NOC-Enid on Saturday. Crowder had a big first quarter and jumped out to a 23-13 lead. The Jets came roaring back with a 28-20 second quarter to p ull within two 43-41. The Roughriders put up 28 points in the third quarter to hold a 71-53 advantage. The visitors from Enid wouldn't go away but the Roughriders held on for the 85-75 victory. Sophomore Alex Vogt had a tremendous game scoring a career high 30 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and adding 4 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Maegan Bandimere and Bethaney Gilkey chipped in 12 and 11 points respectively. Kourtney Shipley had a career high 7 assists. Elle Williams had 5 assists and a team high 3 steals. Crowder improves to 10-13 and 2-2 in Region 16. The Roughriders travel to National Park College on Wednesday for a 5:00 PM game.
