Crowder opened up the Roughrider Classic with an 84-73 win over rival NEO. The Roughriders had a great first quarter outscoring the Norsemen 27-16 while shooting 71% from the field. Crowder held a 45-34 advantage at the half. NEO outscored the Roughriders 17-12 in the third quarter to pull within 57-51. Crowder outscored the NEO 27-22 in the fourth to hold on for the win. Crowder was led by Freshman Elle Williams' career high 15 points and 8 rebounds. The Roughriders had four other players in double figures with Michaela Mack adding 14, Alex Vogt 12, and Coley Ickes and Morgan Crawford each with 11. Vogt also had a team high 8 rebounds, 4 steals and 2 blocks. Crawford had a team high 4 steals. Crowder improves to 10-4 and plays Eastern Oklahoma at 3:00 tomorrow to wrap up the Roughrider Classic.
