After a few day off for Thanksgiving the Roughriders were back in action on Tuesday night as they hosted undefeated Labette Community College at Bob Sneller Gymnasium. Crowder got off to a great start and had a 28-16 lead after the first quarter and a 42-31 advantage at the half. The Cardinals made a run at the Roughriders in the third quarter tying it up at 45 all. Crowder went on an 8-0 run with 2 free throws from Aubrie Ayers and back to back treys by Tori Coulter and extended the lead to 58-49 at the end of three quarters. The Roughriders held on down the stretch for a 79-70 win, handing Labette their first loss of the season. Crowder had four players in double figures led by Coulter with 17, Zahria White with 12 and Maegan Bandimere and Coley Ickes each had 10. Alex Vogt had a team high 8 rebounds. Michaela Mack led with 7 assists and Morgan Crawford had 4 steals. The Roughriders improve to 8-3 on the season and travel to Murray St on Saturday for a 2:00 PM game.
